Illusory Dolhr is an Idolasphere that appears in Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE.

Overview[]

Illusory Dolhr is the final Idolasphere in the game, accessible after Gharnef's defeat in the Illusory Area of Memories. Its entrance is located within the Cosmic Egg at Korakuen. It consists of a series of islands floating in the sky over a flooded ruined city, with the Shadow Dragon Medeus awaiting at its highest point. Each section of Illusory Dolhr features an environmental puzzle that must be completed to reach the elevator upward, though a special floating crystal must also be located in each section to make its respective elevator operational. Between sections, the player must fight strengthened versions of four bosses fought earlier in the game; Garrick, Aversa, Gangrel, and Excellus.

The first two sections of Illusory Dolhr are functionally similar and require the player to advance by manipulating floating blocks that travel from one island to another in order to open the way forward. The third section is predominantly a chase, as a Mirage runs off with the floating crystal required to progress and the player must pursue it through a teleport maze. The final puzzle section of the Idolasphere features more floating block manipulation so that the party can be tested by three statues in order to unlock the way forward.

At the end of the Idolasphere is an energy elevator that takes the party upward to the stage where the Opera of Shadows was performed. Here, the party performs the Opera of Light, which opens the way to the final battle in the game.

Trivia[]

  • Illusory Dolhr is named for Dolhr, the fallen empire founded and ruled by Medeus.
