Overview[edit | edit source]
Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of classes throughout the franchise. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor classes, but less movement range than mounted units. Infantry Units receive terrain effects from any terrain that they can move onto and are able to be Rescued by all mounted units that have the ability in older Fire Emblem games.
Because these units have no special properties, there are no weapons designed to deal effective damage onto them except in Fire Emblem Heroes. Though specific unit types such as criminals or swordsman may take effective weaponry from certain weaponry depending on the game.
