Iote is a background character from the Archanea Series. He was the first king of Macedon. He was originally one of many slaves deported to the undeveloped forests of Macedon by the Dolunian Empire. He opposed the Empire and managed to escape from the forests along with some companions. Afterwards, he fought against the Empire by mounting wild Wyverns as steeds and using his shield. After Dolhr fell, the slaves claimed Macedon, now a rich and newly developed land, as their own and Iote was their natural choice for king. Iote's Shield became the Macedonian royal family's treasure. His descendant, Michalis, is said to be his second coming.
