The Iron Yumi (鉄の和弓 Tetsu no wakyū) is a Yumi that is introduced in Fire Emblem Fates. One of the standard Yumi appearing in the game, the Iron Yumi is slightly stronger than its brass counterpart and able to critical and activate skills, and raises the Resistance of its wielder by 2.

The Iron Hankyu (鉄の近撃和弓 Tetsu no chikageki wakyū, lit. Iron Close-Range Wakyū) is the enemy-exclusive close-range variant of the Iron Yumi.

Yumi is the kun'yomi reading for the Chinese character gōng (弓), which in Japanese on'yomi is pronounced as kyūWakyu (和弓) translates to "Japanese Bow", the kanji which is pronounced wa in on'yomi and kazu in kun'yomi is borrowed from the Chinese hé (和), which means "harmonious" or "harmony".
