—Ishtore
Ishtore is an enemy character from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. He is the son of Bloom and Hilda, Ishtar's brother, and the prince of Friege. He is said to be a kind person, and is against the Child Hunts, much like his father and sister. According to Tine, Ishtore was nice to both herself and her mother, despite the cruel abuse his mother inflicted against them. He is in love with his tactician, Liza, and becomes enraged when she is killed in Chapter 7. He will eventually die while facing Seliph's army when Melgen Castle is attacked.
After Melgen Castle is captured, Seliph expresses remorse at killing Ishtore and Liza, whom he did not perceive to be bad people. Lewyn convinces him that their willful association with the Empire incriminated them, to which Seliph reluctantly concedes.

With Thunderstorm and Thoron, Ishtore can easily kill any of the player's units if he is given the chance. If possible, it is recommended to have Arthur/Amid kill him to gain the Thoron tome without having to purchase it. However, if this proves to be too difficult, use Shannan with the Balmung for an easy victory. Alternatively, if the player paired Lewyn with Tailtiu, Arthur can counteract Ishtore's thunder magic with the weapon advantage and speed bonuses given by Forseti. If the player so wishes to give the precious experience to other units, then the Thunder Mages around Melgen's gate should be defeated with Oifey or other mounted units, followed by the unit(s) to be trained (backed up Lana/Muirne with healing staves) charging for Melgen and taking Ishtore down.

Trivia
- Ishtore should have inherited minor Fjalar blood alongside his minor Thrud Blood, but does not.
