Ivaldi is the Sacred Twin Light Magic tome in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.
Like most other Sacred Twins, its might is doubled when used to attack monsters, however if a Bishop uses it to attack a monster, a glitch will make the Ivaldi's double bonus overwrite Slayer's triple. T

There isn't much difference between the two in terms of might, so choosing is largely a matter of preference.
With this being said, it would probably be best to give the tome to a Sage or Valkyrie, because those classes do not have the Slayer skill.
