Ivaldi (イーヴァルディ Īvarudi) is a Light Magic tome from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. Alongside the saintly staff Latona, Ivaldi is one of the Sacred Twins of the Theocracy of Rausten. When cast, a beam of light will sweep across the screen, whereupon orbs of divine energy will shatter in the background. The heavens will then open up to admit luminescent rays of the highest order, engulfing the entire battlefield momentarily before being driven upwards in pillars.
Much like a majority of the other Sacred Twin weapons, the Ivaldi tome's Might is doubled when equipped to attack monster units. However, if a Bishop wields the tome to attack a monster unit, a glitch will be triggered, where the tome's double bonus essentially overwrites the bonuses he/she obtains from the Slayer skill. This has thus led to many players opting to place a copy of the Aura tome into the Bishop's inventory instead.

Etymology
In Norse mythology, the 'Sons of Ivaldi' were dwarves who forged powerful weaponry for the gods, such as that of Odin's spear.
