Koichiro Yamada (山田耕一郎) is video game developer at Intelligent Systems and currently a lead designer on the Fire Emblem series. Yamada first began working on the series, as an event storyboard illustrator under Daisuke Izuka on Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.
Yamada would later switch to 3D modeling, a position he would hold for development of Fire Emblem Fates and Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. Yamada also worked as a unit designer for Shadows of Valentia, alongside Toshiyuki Kusakihara and Paul Patraschu.
Yamada also illustrated Sanaki for the One Hundred Songs of Heroes Karuta set.
