“It's no wonder they call you Lamia the wicked. It sure suits you.”
Daccar complimenting Lamia

Etymology[]

In ancient Greek mythology, Lamia was a woman who became a child-eating monster after her children were destroyed by Hera, who learned of her husband Zeus's trysts with her.

Lamia has also been ascribed to a type of feminine creature with serpentine qualities that would seduce and kill men.

Trivia[]

  • Lamia bears a strong resemblance to a younger version of Hilda. Much like Hilda, Lamia is well-known for being cruel, and derives pleasure from the suffering sustained by other people.
  • Lamia, alongside Macbeth and Ovo, is one of the only minor bosses to not have her portrait re-used.
