The Lance Paladin is a horse-mounted combat physical class in TearRing Saga: Berwick Saga and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

History in the Series

In TearRing Saga: Berwick Saga, the class is known as the Lance Knight and is the promoted form of the Spear Knight, the latter being a renamed version of the Lance Knight class of old. All Lance Knights have the skill to use Lance subweapon of spears. Unlike Spears, Lances can only be used while mounted, but deal greatly enhanced damage depending on how many squares the unit moved before initiating the attack.

In Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, the Lance Paladin is a second-tier class that promotes from the Lance Knight. Compared to the Axe, Bow and Blade Paladin, Lance Paladin has the most balanced stats of the four. Lance Paladins promote to Silver Knight, giving them access to bows.

In Vestaria Saga I, the Lance Paladin is known as the Great Lancer. It wields Lances and Throwing Spears.
