Lancebreaker is a Skill that debuted in TearRing Saga: Berwick Saga, under the name Dodge Spears. It has appeared in multiple Fire Emblem games starting with Fire Emblem Awakening.

Overview

It is a skill that triggers if a unit would be hit by a spear or lance. When activated, it rerolls the hit with an accuracy cap of 33%; thus, it effectively cuts hit rates > 33% by two thirds and square roots hit rates below 33%. It is unobtainable on playable units and only found on a few enemy units.

In Fire Emblem Awakening, the skill increases the user's Hit Rate and Evasion by 50% when the enemy is equipped with a Lance. It should be noted that the ability does not stack with the Superior Lance; only one of the two's effects will be used.
