—In-game description, The Sacred Stones
The Lancereaver is a special Sword that first appears in the GBA titles of the Fire Emblem Series. This sword essentially possesses the unique ability of reversing the Weapon Triangle, such that it is, contrary to other normal swords available within the game, effectively brandished against Lance wielders (except for ones wielding an Axereaver). At the same time, however, this merit is offset by the fact that the sword renders its wielder vulnerable to the attacks inflicted upon him/her by Axe wielders (except for ones wielding a Swordreaver or Swordslayer).
The weapon returns in the spin-off title Fire Emblem Warriors, in which it serves the same purpose.
