“My name is Lee. I am a bishop in the service of Count Merlon. I may not be handy with a blade, but I have magical skills to offer.”
—Lee

Lee is a playable character from TearRing Saga: Utna Heroes Saga. He is a Bishop in the service of Count Merlon of Verge. If he is recruited before Map 2, he has a conversation with Plum at the end of the chapter. In this scene, he attempts to comfort Plum when she is frightened by the horrors of war and gifts her with the expensive ☆Defense Staff.

Subjective: The following part of this article is based upon the editor's personal experiences and opinions, and therefore may not be applicable for all readers.

Lee is one of the only character in the game with both Staves and Magic, much in line with FE1 Wendell. While this might give players a ton of expectations, Lee sadly isn't as overpowering as one would hope. One of Lee's biggest boons is that he's the earliest Physic user as the player only gets another Physic staff at Map 4. This gives him a solid enough niche in the first few chapters where having a Physic user is quite nice. Since the enemies hit quite hard, having someone that can heal from afar makes those chapters palatable. What helps is that he also gives Plum the Enarmor Staff, which is very helpful on Maps 3, 18, 21 and 37.

The biggest problem with Lee is that outside the earlygame, he really isn't doing that much that the other mages aren't doing. Outside of the earlygame, he's really only worthwhile in Holmes' early maps, and later on for an extra user of the Hammerne and Save Staves. In terms of combat, he starts out strong with his ability to 1RKO most earlygame enemies, though this is downplayed by his limited mobility. What doesn't help is that most of the chapters Lee does well in are chapters where one would rather train up another Magic user like Maruju.

Moreover, while the Enarmor is a valuable staff, its use cases are limited with how it's stuck with Plum. While Plum does make good use of it early on, it interferes with turns that she would rather spend dancing. What doesn't help is that in some cases, the player would have to give up on making Plum their dancer just to use Enarmor, like in Map 18. The game also provides a ton of units like Narron, Rishel and Vega who don't necessarily have durability issues, making Enarmor dedundant as a result.

Despite these flaws, Lee is definitely a solid choice in both of the Wellt visits. If the player values an early user of the Physic Staff, as well as a spare Save and Hammerne user in the lategame, they can't do worse than picking Lee.
