LethalityLethality (also known as Silencer in Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken and Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones) is a special skill native to Assassins. It is a special attack which disregards an enemy's defense and remaining health, dealing an instant KO. This skill notably allows Assassins to take down even the heavily armored Generals in a single stroke. In Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Lethality is the name of a skill that an assassin has learnt, though in Path of Radiance the player is required to use an Occult scroll at a base after Volke becomes an assassin in order to develop this skill. It takes up 20 points of skill capacity in Path of Radiance and 30 points in Radiant Dawn and instantly kills any foe. In the latter two games, the skill cannot activate against bosses, while in the former two it can (although there are some specific units that are immune to its effects). It never activates against final bosses.

Activation

Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken & Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones

Silencer uses half of the user's critical as a percentage, thus making it recommended to use Myrmidons as the base unit when creating an Assassin, as myrmidons have naturally high skill (which determines the critical hit chance). It does not deal any damage which gives it priority over Great Shield. In Rekka no Ken, it cannot activate against the Fire Dragon, but can activate against other bosses (although the use of the Iron Rune/Hoplon Guard will prevent it from triggering).

Path of Radiance

Path of Radiance 's Lethality also uses half of the user's critical as a percentage. Volke, who promotes from a thief, is the only usable character in the game who can learn the ability.

Radiant Dawn

Radiant Dawn changes the formula and instead uses half of the user's skill as a percentage. The reason for the formula change could be due to Volke having enough capacity to equip the Gamble skill.

Fire Emblem: Kakusei

It is implied that Lethality will appear in this upcoming game.
