Liza is an enemy character from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. She is the lover of Ishtore, and a very skilled tactician of Freege. When Seliph's army conquers Yied Castle, Liza has a conversation with Ishtore, in which she immediately realizes that Seliph's goal is to reinforce Leif in Leonster. She then bids Ishtore farewell before perishing in her battle against Seliph's army.

Liza is a shortened version of the biblical name Elizabeth, which means "God is an oath."

It's the name of the mother of John the Baptist, in the New Testament.
