Not to be confused with Moonlight, a light magic tome that heals the user depending on damage dealt.

“Negates enemy resistance.”
—In-game description, The Sacred Stones

Luna (ルナ Runa) is a Dark magic tome from Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade and Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. While it does not possess any Might (or a pitiful Might of 1), relying on the unit's Magic alone, it compensates for this by having the unique ability to negate the enemy's Resistance and therefore inflict direct damage equal to the caster's Magic. This ability is further enhanced by the fact that this tome possesses high Hit and Critical Hit values, essentially making it a rather potent spell to use against strong bosses like Limstella, Nergal, and the Fire Dragon from The Blazing Blade.

The potency of this tome is lessened in The Sacred Stones, where its Critical Hit and accuracy rate have been halved and decreased by 45% respectively. This is due to the fact that the tome is considered to be far too powerful in The Blazing Blade - to the point that it is capable of potentially killing the final boss in just 1 round (provided Athos or a max magic Canas uses it, it is boosted with Filla's Might, and it initiates a critical).

The tome disappeared from later games in the series, likely due to its power, but returned in Three Houses with slightly better accuracy than in The Sacred Stones but no Critical Hit bonus.
