Mach is a land comprising much of the North Western region of the Fódlan. When the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus was split into three Dukedoms, the western region consisted of Mach. The Mach Coast comprises the western border of the county of Hevring.
History[]
In Imperial year 721, Dagdan forces traveled across the sea from the west and invaded Mach, triggering the First Mach War. The Adrestian Empire drove off the Dagdans, but Mach was extensively damaged in the fighting. The Dagdan invasion of Mach spurred the Empire to launch a counter-invasion of Brigid in 728 and then Dagda itself in 731.
