Mananan was the brave King of Isaac before the events of Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu, and the father of Mariccle and Ira. After the Rivough clan attacked the free city of Darna, in the Yied Desert, Mananan set off to resolve the situation. He led an army to defeat Rivough and took the head of Rivough's ruler, offering it to Grandbell to propose a truce. However, he was captured by Grandbell's soldiers and executed by Reptor. Manfroy was responsible for Mananan's death, and they were scheming with Langobalt to attain more power for themselves.
