Mantle is a skill that debuted in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.

History in the Series[]

In Path of Radiance, this skill allows its user to negate all enemy attacks, providing impeccable protection. Sephiran is the only wielder of the skill, with the in-game description erroneously stating that it reduces, and not negates, enemy attacks.

In Radiant Dawn, this skill negates damage from non-Yune blessed weapons, alongside allowing its user to recover HP equal to Luck. Furthermore, it also combines the power of the skills Nihil and Fortune, essentially making this skill a rather formidable one. In this game, only Dheginsea, Lehran, and Ashera's protective Auras have this skill.
