Manual is a Stat booster that debuts in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light. When used, the Manual permanently increases its user's Weapon Level by 5. It gets a successor in the form of the Arms Scroll starting from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, long after Weapon Levels were replaced by Weapon Ranks.
In TearRing Saga: Utna Heroes Saga, the Manual's equivalent is a potion that is simply known as the Weapon Level Plus, permanently raising its user's weapon level by 3.
