For a limited time in North America, a bonus disc was included with the release of Mario Kart: Double Dash!! in 2003. This bonus disc contains various demos for then-upcoming releases. The disc also features an option to link it with Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade via the Game Boy Advance Link Cable. Doing so unlocks some items only available from the bonus disc, as well as the secret soundtracks 99 and 100.
During the linking process, Elimine, a background lore character from Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade and Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade never visually depicted in either game, makes a brief appearance to present the player with the items that they unlocked. This is the only visual representation of Elimine of any sort until she was introduced as a Mythic Hero in Fire Emblem Heroes in 2022.
