—In a battle conversation between Migal and Lyn
|Axe - D||Steel Axe|
The third in a line of incrementally more powerful Brigands barring Lyn's path, Migal is only interesting because of the Steel Axe he wields. His attack power is abnormally high compared to previous bosses, but players should be fine as long as they properly heal or make calculated risks with their sword units. He does not move, so Wil can snipe him away with impunity, though this will lead to a bad turncount for the mission. Whatever the case, Florina should only engage Migal if the player is aiming to feed her the kill.
With a powerful weapon, weapon triangle advantage, enough defenses to barely shrug off four rounds of slim lance combat, and enough speed to just barely avoid getting doubled by one of Florina's Iron Lance assaults, Migal seems custom made to make her look weak. Players should not underestimate Florina as a result of her poor performance in this battle, as she can turn out to be an extremely useful unit throughout the game in the long run, especially once the enemy forces start showing a greater level of weapon diversity.
Special conversations Edit
Lyn vs MigalEdit
Lyn: Hey, listen! There's something I wanted to ask you.
Migal: Begging for your life so soon, wench?
Lyn: Are you... Taliver bandits?
Migal: Taliver? Those greedy monsters? We're nothing like them!! Those fiends will even kill women and children! We're from Ganelon, and we know a little something of honor. We don't harm women, for one thing. Heh heh heh. After all, why kill what you can sell?
Lyn: If you're not Taliver, then there's no reason for you to die here today. If you would like to tuck your tails and flee, do so now.
Migal: You... You... No more courtesies! You're going to learn to watch your tongue!!!
Florina vs MigalEdit
Florina: Um... Excuse me...
Migal: Huh? It's you! So, you changed your mind about coming with us, eh?
Florina: Well...no... But...this really is... my fault... Really... So, can we...
Migal: What?! C'mon, lass, out with it!
Florina: I'm sorry. Can we... Can we just stop fighting now?
Migal: You've got to be kidding. After I've been made to look like a fool? No way!
Migal: You're coming with us! I promise you that!! Now, if you don't want to get hurt, give yourself up!
Migal: Draw your swords! We're not listening to any of you stinking apologies!
Migal: Ugh...You'll live to regret this...My brothers...The Ganelon bandits will not let this stand...
