Mikoto (ミコト Mikoto) is a character in Fire Emblem: Fates. She is the Queen and ruler of Hoshido. She is voiced by Sayaka Ohara in the Japanese version.
Profile
Mikoto is the mother of the Avatar whom she loves dearly as well as her other children Ryoma, Hinoka, Takumi, and Sakura.
Mikoto found herself becoming the Queen of Hoshido after the death of her husband Sumeragi at the hands of Nohr. She is a kind and polite woman who cares deeply for her people.

She later reappears in the final chapter as a spirit alongside a deceased Ryoma and the newly deceased Takumi. She gives her support to the Avatar in defeating the infested Takumi.
Neutral
On the third route she is revived by the Touma to oppose the Avatar. None of the Hoshido siblings are related to her by blood, and only the Avatar is her biological child. The Avatar was the result of a union between her and the Touma's King Anankos.
Etymology
Mikoto (尊) means "precious" and "nobility" and is used as a title for Japanese gods, most notably Susanoo-no-Mikoto.
