Mountain (山) is an outdoor terrain with heavy movement restrictions.
Overview[]
Mountain spaces are only passable by flying units and infantry, while horse-mounted units are unable to move on or through them. In Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, the terrain is even more restrictive, with the only on-foot class allowed to move across them being Berserkers. Mountains offer a greater bonus than Forest terrain, providing +2 to Defense and +30 to Avoid.
