Etymology[]
Muhammad is the most important prophet in the religion of Islam, and is de facto, being the founder of the religion. He once received a vision proclaiming there was only one God, instead of all of the pagan gods the tribes of Mecca believed in. He then gathered a number of followers, but this essentially angered others, causing him to be forced into a nearby city. Here, he managed to gather yet more followers, resulting in battles taking place between the city and Mecca. However, when the weapon of faith was unleashed, the city Muhammad was driven into won. Muhammad opted to spare the people of Mecca, as he merely desired to destroy the idols residing within the holy city that the tribes of Mecca worshipped.
Trivia[]
- Muhammad's portrait is a direct reuse of Chagall's, a character with enough importance to have artwork in the official manual of the game.
