The Nabata Desert (ナバタ砂漠 Nabata Sabaku) is a desert in the games Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade and Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. It is also the location of the secret village of Arcadia, where Dragons and Humans have found peace together after the Scouring. It is the home of Hawkeye, Pent, Louise, and Athos in The Blazing Blade. It is also the home of Igrene, Fae, and Sophia in The Binding Blade.

Etymology

The Nabata Desert draws its name from the kingdom of Nabatea, located south-east of Judea. Its capital city was called Petra and it was conquered by the Roman Empire under Marcus Aemilius Scaurus in A.D. 106. As a part of the Roman Empire it was known as Arabia Petraea.
