Naglfar (ナグルファル Nagurufaru) is a Dark magic tome of the highest order, wielded by Lyon in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. This tome is stronger, more accurate, lighter, and infinitely more durable than Gleipnir. Due to the advantages that Naglfar possesses, players generally prefer to use this tome in the Link Arena, as opposed to Gleipnir. This stems from the fact that the Gleipnir tome is extremely heavy, which will adversely affect the Attack Speed of its wielder.

The Naglfar tome may be obtained by the player upon recruiting Lyon in the Creature Campaign, whereupon it can be used by any magic user with an S rank in Dark Magic. (It is also possible to obtain it in the base game by using the Enemy Control Glitch on the final map by baiting a flying unit into the upper most left hand corner with a flyer of your own and using a Rescue staff to pull the flyer out and push them onto the corner, which acts as an action tile once all the doors are opened
