Alongside his father, Naris was one of the Twelve Heroes who fought in the Leda Liberation War. After the war ended, he became the royal court mage under the king of Reeve's orders. However, he gradually became obsessed with power. After his younger sister gave birth to Maeve, he discovered the holy markings of Utna on the child's body and took advantage of Mios's absence to secretly kidnap her. Intending to use her for his own political ambitions, he locked her in a room within the Temple of Water, which he refused to allow anyone else to enter. His actions resulted in the queen dying of grief and his wife committing suicide. When Mios returned and released Maeve, Naris was banished and later slain by a Zoan swordsman during a hunt.
