Natalie is a non-playable character from Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. She is the wife of Dorcas, a playable fighter from the game.
Natalie first appears in Chapter 4: In Occupation's Shadow. She will be hiding within the walls of a ruined fortress-like building that Lyn and her group decide to take refuge in for the night.
She will approach Lyn once the group enters the inner area of the building. Lyn notices that Natalie has a leg injury. Natalie explains that the injury is the result of a childhood illness. The specifics and nature of this injury is unknown, although it is fairly serious as it limits Natalie's ability to walk and also costs a great amount of money to have treated. Natalie asks if anyone has seen her husband, Dorcas who she is searching for. She then shows them a sketch (although the player is not shown the image). Nobody has seen him however.
Soon after Natalie speaks with Lyn and the group, the abandoned fort is surrounded by the bandits that had been tracking Lyn and her company. The bandits will commence an attack, mainly on the front entrance, however the bandit's leader will send a specific man to attack from the eastern side. This man happens to be Dorcas.
Dorcas has joined the bandit group to raise funds to treat his wife's condition. Once the battle has begun Lyn will mention how the man at the eastern entrance resembles the picture of Natalie's husband, Dorcas. Lyn can then walk over to Dorcas and speak to him. He will easily join Lyn's group in fighting once he discovers that they are defending his wife.
After the battle is won Dorcas will ask Natalie to return home. If Dorcas is defeated in the battle he will return back to his home with Natalie. If not, whether you recruited him or not (the latter only possible in Hard Mode as the tutorial will force you to talk to him), he will join Lyn's group.
- Through hacking the game, she is seen to have a -1 modifier to her Resistance, thus giving her an effective value of -1.
Lyn: Natalie! I wasn't strong enough... ...I couldn't protect Natalie. I'm sorry Mark... I need to be alone. ...I... I failed her when she needed help most.”
