Background[edit | edit source]
During the events of The Sacred Stones, Nidhogg is, along with the Winged Lance Vidofnir, given to Eirika and Ephraim's army by Innes at the end of Chapter 17. The bow is then used alongside its other sacred counterparts to eliminate the threat that the Demon King poses to the continent of Magvel.
Weapon Stats[edit | edit source]
Effective against flying foes.
Overview[edit | edit source]
Nidhogg has extremely high accuracy and might relative to its weight. Its luck boost may seem like a modest boon, but ranged units will appreciate its boost to their evasion and critical evasion. Only five characters in the game are capable of wielding it, Innes, Neimi, Ross, Garcia, and Gerik, though that depends on which promotions they take. In the hands of a powerful unit like Innes, the Nidhogg is devastatingly powerful.

Nidhogg appears in Monster Hunter Frontier G as a Gunner weapon, taking on its Awakening appearance in this game. When upgraded to its Serpent Bow form, the bow turns from light brown to a white color.
Nidhogg appears in Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. in its Awakening version, and is wielded by Lucina. Lucina uses this bow to attack distant enemies.
Etymology[edit | edit source]
In Norse Mythology, Nidhogg is a serpent that devours the roots of the world tree, Yggdrasil.
