The Nomadic Trooper is a horse-mounted combat physical class that is exclusive to the Elibe Series of Fire Emblem. The promoted form of the Nomad class, Nomadic Troopers are armed with Swords and Bows as their weapons of choice. Like Nomads, Nomadic Troopers can move through forest-based terrain without suffering any Movement penalties.
History in the Series[]
In The Binding Blade and The Blazing Blade, the Nomadic Trooper class is introduced as the promoted form of the Nomad class, wielding both Swords and Bows as its weapons of choice. Both the Nomad and Nomadic Troopers are modelled after the tribal nature of the Sacean plainsmen appearing in both titles, and are as such retired from the series following the end of the Elibe saga.
The closest equivalent to the Nomadic Trooper class in The Sacred Stones is the Ranger class, a class that similarly wields both Swords and Bows as its weapons of choice. Games after Sacred Stones have since made an equivalent called the Bow Knight class, which also utilises Bows and Swords.

The Blazing Blade[]
- Uhai - An original Black Fang member who is referred to as the Soaring Hawk and is very honorable. Later made into a Morph in the final chapter.
