Pallardó is a non-playable character in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. He is the leader of a group of thieves who have taken refuge at the ruined Garreg Mach Monastery after the time skip. He used to be a merchant at the monastery, but after he fell on hard times, he turned to thievery.

In the White Clouds section of Azure Moon and Verdant Wind, Pallardó appears only in Anna's paralogue, where he tells Anna of some treasure he found and asks if she is willing to help (and pay) for the excavation of said treasure. Anna agrees and joins him on site. It is obvious the treasure is worth a lot of money, and so Pallardó attempts to secure it all for himself, under the guise of estimating its value off-site and claiming to split the rewards fifty-fifty with Anna. Upon Anna's refusal, Pallardó attempts to take the treasure anyway, after which a fight ensues. He ends up being defeated by Anna and either the Blue Lions or Golden Deer, whereupon Anna decides to file a report on him to the Church, claiming the Church should be made aware of a shady merchant dealing inside their walls.

During the timeskip of every route but Crimson Flower, Pallardó falls on hard times after the monastery falls to ruins and to get by he assumes command of a band of thieves operating out of the ruins of Garreg Mach. Once Byleth reawakens and joins either Dimitri, Claude or Seteth in the monastery, they find out about Pallardó's criminal dealings and decide to put a stop to him. He initially has someone act as a decoy for him, but once they are defeated Pallardó is forced out of hiding. He is killed while trying to make his escape.

In Crimson Flower, Pallardó appears once again in Anna's paralogue, which she shares with Jeritza on this route. As the monastery never falls to ruin due to the Empire occupying it during the five year timeskip, he never assumes command of a band of thieves and interacts with Anna in much the same capacity as the non-Crimson Flower versions of the paralogue. After he is defeated, he runs away, Jeritza following closely behind. He intends to "take care of him", presumably intending to kill him. While Anna files a complaint against him to the Church in other routes, she lets Jeritza chase after him in this version, claiming she does not feel sorry for Pallardó at all.

Since Hunting by Daybreak does not take place in Crimson Flower, Pallardó does not appear in this route at all if the DLC hasn't been bought.

Personality[]

Pallardó is an opportunistic schemer and crook. He attempts to take advantage of his fellow merchant Anna by asking her to foot the expense of hiring a crew for a treasure excavation, and then uses hired muscle and Warp magic in order to cheat her out of her share. When this plan falls apart, however, he flees. Although he is initially described as a merchant frequenting Garreg Mach that fell on tough times during the timeskip, implying he was honest before being forced to a life of crime, in Anna's paralogue he acts untrustworthy and scheming, even when the paralogue takes place before the war breaks out, meaning Pallardó, despite being a merchant, was never honest in the first place.

As a bandit leader, he has no qualms with using holy ground as his hideout. When attacked, he utilizes a body-double to aid his escape.
