Palmark is essential for Seliph to finally inherit the Tyrfing. The bridge to Chalphy won't drop until Seliph captures Miletos. After Palmark appears, he will be chased by Dark Mages trying to hunt him down and re-kidnap the escaped children. Sending flying units across to Palmark's location can give more time for Seliph to arrive. Palmark has average magic rates but can't defend himself with his Mend staff. Racing Seliph to Palmark's position from Miletos without killing the chasing dark mages beforehand is dangerous. It may take a few turns for Seliph to reach Palmark and claim his father's weapon. A dancer may be able to give Seliph more time.
