“You don't understand, do you? If we tell anyone, the Four Fangs will take over. I will not let my prey be snatched away by those spoiled children.”
—Pascal, before entering a battle against Hector's group

Pascal is an enemy character from Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. He is the boss of Chapter 25 in Hector's Story. He was once a corrupt noble before joining the Black Fang, an organization which, ironically enough, was formed to protect the poor from corrupt nobles.

Profile[]

Pascal is known for being both ruthless and sadistic; it is said he is willing to kill an entire village if it means killing one person. He was formerly a noble of Bern, Count Landskron. However, one night, he invited citizens to his castle, and proceeded to slaughter them all. Afterwards King Desmond stripped him of his title, leading to Pascal fleeing Bern and joining the Black Fang, during which he became one of the Four Fangs, known as the Crazed Beast. He was later imprisoned because of his bloodthirst. Sonia frees him and promises to restore him to his rank if he succeeds in killing Eliwood and Hector. However, he is defeated by them.

Subjective: The following part of this article is based upon the editor's personal experiences and opinions, and therefore may not be applicable for all readers.

Pascal is statistically similar to Eubans, but he has notably better HP, Strength and Luck, at the expense of his Resistance. He will attack any unit that enters into his movement range, and with his reasonably high Might and Accuracy, he could pose a substantial threat to whomever he attacks. It is important to kill him soon after he attacks, before he can launch an attack on a particularly fragile unit. Horse slaying gear, such as the Wolf Beil and Halberd, are particularly useful in this regard.

Quotes[]

“I am Count Pascal Grentzer of Landskron… The man who will cut short your miserable lives.”
—Pascal's battle quote
“Gahaa...Urrg....gaa...Is this...death? Is this..what I have...wrought so often before?”
—Pascal's death quote

Trivia[]

  • Pascal's portrait is a palette swap of Bauker.
  • Based off Sonia's words that he would slaughter a whole village to kill one person, it is possible he killed his subjects because he wanted to get rid of a particular person.
