Fe13 a strangled peace location

Peaceful Village as seen on the world map.

Peaceful Village is a location in Fire Emblem Awakening. Paralogue 3 takes place here. It is the only paralogue where no characters can be recruited.

On the world map, the location is labelled "Peaceful Village", but this is likely not the actual name of the titular village the Shepherds find in eastern Ferox. This village is nonetheless renowned for its hospitality, at least during otherwise peaceful times. It is hidden from the rest of Ferox by a mountain range. There is also a river running from the mountains and through a small forest. The village itself sits east of the mountains on a road following the north shore of the river, at the start of a plain leading to the eastern sea. Further up the road, there is a neighboring village named Woodrun.

Story[]

While travelling in the area, Frederick and Chrom notice a band of Risen approaching a nearby village. At first, they mean to protect this village, then they realise there are refugees from Woodrun who have been barred from this village and left to die. Quickly, the Shepherds move to rescue the helpless villagers.

During the battle, the "peaceful" village can be visited, and the village elder will give the Shepherds a Blessed Bow. Should Chrom be the person to visit the village, he will demand to know why they refused to help the other villagers. The village elder will explain that their village is only peaceful so long as they keep their gates shut to any who might bring them strife.

If any of the three forsaken villagers are still alive after all the Risen have been defeated, a villager will give Chrom a Seraph Robe. The Shepherds will also receive the gag weapons Log and Ladle. Frederick will denounce the ways of the "peaceful" village that committed fellow humans to death for their own safety, claiming that true peace will come only once battles and barricades both cease to exist.
