Peak is a common form of Terrain found in Fire Emblem games.
Peaks are always found outdoors, usually in large groups next to mountains. Peak-spaces primarily appear in the 2D games, such as Fire Emblem: Fuin no Tsurugi.
The peak space provides +2 bonus to defense and +40 bonus to avoid. The down side to the great bonuses is that the terrain is only available to Brigands, Berserkers, Wyverns, Pegasi, and other flying units. Peaks usually act as barriers, due to the fact that very few units can pass them.
