The Pine Branch (松の木 Matsunoki) is a Naginata that is introduced in Fire Emblem Fates. A joke Naginata that literally takes the form of a massive pine log, the Pine Branch is, contrary to appearances, very much viable for combat purposes, owing to its high Might, bonus to critical rates, and fact that it boosts its wielder's Defense and Resistance by 1. These strengths are only very minimally offset by its negligible weaknesses, including its low Hit Rate and minor Avoid penalty.
