The Poleax is the axe equivalant of the Longsword and Ridersbane, which is a sword that also deals extra damage to units mounted on horseback. It however is more common then the Longsword, although a little less accurate. It can be usually found in the possesion of several enemies throughout several fire emblem games. About 75% of the time you will recieve it upon killing that opponent wielding it. This is the most common way of getting it as it is very unusual to be able to buy it.
