Quick Riposte is a Skill introduced in Fire Emblem Heroes.

Overview

When a unit is attacked with a certain amount of health left, Quick Riposte guarantees a follow-up attack. These follow the normal zig-zag turn rule, rather than the immediate guaranteed double attack like with Brave weapons.

In Fire Emblem Heroes, Quick Riposte is a type B passive skill with 4 levels. Each function as stated above, but Quick Riposte 4 also reduces damage from the foe's first attack.

The skill functions entirely differently in Warriors: Three Hopes. With a certain amount of health left, rather than guaranteeing a follow-up attack, the attacking enemy sustains damage proportional to the damage they inflict.

In Fire Emblem Engage, Quick Riposte is a Sync Skill unique to Emblem Hector. A unit can inherit the skill for use permanently if they develop their bond levels with Hector and then spend SP to acquire it.

Trivia

• In Three Houses, Female Byleth can obtain Quick Riposte via New Game+ if using a previous file where Male Byleth has masterd the War Master class, making her the only female unit to have the ability to use the skill.
