The Raijinto (雷神刀 Raijintō lit. Thunder God Sword) is a unique Katana used by Ryoma from Fire Emblem: Fates. Being a Katana, it also reduces Defense and Resistance by 1, while raising Speed by 1. It is a royal weapon passed down for generations in the Hoshidan royal family, Sumeragi and his ancestors before him wielded the Raijinto before Ryoma inherited it.

Etymology
Raijin is the god of lightning, thunder, and storms in the Shinto religion and Japanese mythology. Another major Shinto deity associated with storms - Fujin - is the namesake of Takumi's legendary bow, the Fujin Yumi.
