Rapiers are swords that usually can only be wielded by a specific Lord character. They usually cannot be dropped or sold. The Rapier is unique in that it is effective against cavalry units and armoured units simultaneously. This trait is shared with only two other weapons in the entire series - Wolf Beil and Reginleif.
In Fire Emblem: Rekka No Ken, this was wielded by Eliwood. In Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, this was wielded by Eirika. Confirmation of multiple Rapiers in one game (from villages or lerge red-roofed houses in certain levels, not secret shops) was made in both Rekka No Ken and Sacred Stones.
