It is implied that Rebecca may be one of the immortal Ar-Cana (アル・カナ Aru Kana in Japanese) like Morse, who came with Miradona to the continent of Lieberia. Whether or not this is true notwithstanding, she is a resident of the village of Arcana, which they established.
During the invasion of the Zoa Empire, Rebecca left the hidden village and was captured by Imperial forces. She was sent to the prison camps in Zoa Valley, but later escaped and began traveling back to Arcana. After falling unconscious in the desert, she is found by an elderly man who takes her to his home on the outskirts of the desert and cares for her. Once she regains consciousness, he informs her that Arcana has been once again been magically blocked off from the rest of the world by a sandstorm for the past two years. Unable to return to her home, Rebecca decides to help the prisoners of the Zoa Empire and joins Runan's army for this purpose.
In the ending, Rebecca informs Holmes that she comes from Arcana, which he previously believed to be a myth.

Rebecca joins late in the game at a low level. Unlike most of the other healers, Rebecca really does not have any special features or unique staves. However, she does have Summon at base, which is immensely useful in both chapter 26A and 26B. She's an extra physic bot, if you need one, taking over for Enteh after she leaves, and a far superior choice compared to Leteena, simply due to much better recruitment cost and more pressing immediate usage.
