—In-game description
Reginleif is a Lance that appears in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones and Fire Emblem Heroes. The personal weapon of Ephraim, this lance is imbued with the unique ability of inflicting effective damage against cavalry and armored units. This trait is shared with nine other weapons in the Fire Emblem Series, encompassing the Rapier, Wolf Beil, Mani Katti, Wing Spear, Regal Sword, Thani, Noble Rapier and Wing Sword. Unlike the Rapier (and usually the lord characters to whom it is bound), the Reginleif is reasonably powerful when put to its intended use, a fact that is bolstered by Ephraim's decent stats.
It was lightly alluded to in Awakening as Ephraim's Lance.

Etymology[]
In the old Norse mythological poems Grímnismál and Nafnaþulur, 'Reginleif' is the name of a Valkyrie. Her name could possibly mean either "power-trace" or "daughter of the gods", positing it as one that is very fitting for a weapon that is bound to the prince of Renais.
