“We threw away our ranks as knights, and now live to protect those who are powerless.”
—Reiden to Marth in Chapter 12 of Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem.

Reiden is a playable character from Fire Emblem: Archanea Saga and Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem. He is a Sable Knight of Grust.

Profile[edit | edit source]

Along with Belf and Roberto, Reiden assisted Camus in delivering Nyna to Hardin before the War of Shadows. Before assisting Camus, Reiden left the Sable order to avoid implicating the rest of the order and to protect the hostage Grust Prince, Jubelo. While Camus would be captured by Doluna after getting Nyna to safety, Reiden's status afterwards was not confirmed.

Reiden reappears and joins the army in Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem, along with Belf and Roberto before the game's Chapter 13.

Subjective: The following part of this article is based upon the editor's personal experiences and opinions, and therefore may not be applicable for all readers.

Due to his impressive bases and above average growths, Reiden is recommended for use as a Cavalier, even over his partner, Belf. Compared to Belf, Reiden is worse defensively, with inferior HP and Defense as well as a lower base Luck. However, he is superior in most other areas, and like Belf should have no problem maxing out his Skill.

Grustian Pride

"Reiden traveled the lands, helping out the weak. Rumors say he reunited with General Camus, but rumors are rumors."

Etymology[edit | edit source]

Reiden is the English transcription for Raijin, which is Japanese for thunder god.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • How Reiden managed to avoid the wrath of Dolhr is currently unknown. Though it can be presumed he was laying low after delivering Nyna to Aurelis.
