“We threw away our ranks as knights, and now live to protect those who are powerless.”
—Leiden to Marth in Chapter 12 of Fire Emblem: Shin Monshō no Nazo ~Hikari to Kage no Eiyū~.

Leiden (Raiden at one point in the fan translation) is a playable Sable Knight.

Profile

Along with Belf and Robert, Leiden assisted Camus in delivering Nyna to Hardin before the War of Darkness. Before assisting Camus, Leiden left the Sable order to avoid implicating the rest of the order and to protect the hostage Grust Prince, Yubello. While Camus would be captured by Doluna after getting Nyna to safety, Leiden's status afterwards wasn't confirmed.

Leiden reappears and joins in Fire Emblem: Shin Monshō no Nazo ~Hikari to Kage no Eiyū~, along with Belf and Robert before the original game's Chapter 13.

Overall

Due to his impressive bases and above-average growths, Leiden is recommended for use as a Cavalier, even over his partner, Belf. Compared to Belf, Leiden is worse defensively, with inferior HP and Defense as well as a lower base Luck. However, he is superior in most other areas, and like Belf should have no problem maxing out his Skill.

Grustian Pride

"Leiden traveled the lands, helping out the weak. Rumors say he reunited with General Camus, but rumors are rumors."

Notes

How Leiden managed to avoid the wrath of Doluna isn't currently known. Though it can be presumed Leiden was laying low after delivering Nyna to Aurelis.
