FEH Remire Village

Remire Village as it appears in Fire Emblem Heroes.

Remire Village is a small village in the central Adrestian Empire, at the foot of the Oghma Mountains and near the border with the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus.

Profile[]

In the Great Tree Moon of Imperial Year 1180, Jeralt's mercenary band rest at Remire Village while traveling to the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus to take on a new job. On the morning of their planned departure, however, Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude enter the village seeking help, explaining they are being pursued by bandits. Jeralt and Byleth help the students defeat the bandits and their leader, Kostas, on the outskirts of Remire. As the bandits flee, Alois and a unit from the Knights of Seiros arrive; Alois recognizes Jeralt as his old captain and insists that Jeralt and Byleth return with the students to Garreg Mach Monastery to meet Lady Rhea, the archbishop of the Church of Seiros.

Months later, reports begin to reach the the Church that the people of Remire Village have begun acting strangely, and the Knights of Seiros are dispatched to investigate. No known cause for the strange behavior can be ascertained, however, and the troubling behavior of the villagers eventually escalates to unhinged violence. Jeralt, Byleth, and the students of Byleth's class are dispatched to assist the Knights of Seiros in bringing an end to the chaos.

While observing the village, it becomes apparent to all that a number of the villagers are acting out of their minds, having set fires and enacted violence upon each other with innocent villagers unaffected by the strange phenomenon caught in the middle. They also discover the monastery librarian Tomas, accompanied by a contingent of strange mages and the Death Knight, observing the riots from the other end of the village. When called out, "Tomas" drops his disguise, revealing his true identity as Solon.

After Solon and his forces are driven back, the survivors of the massacre are brought to the monastery for safety. Remire Village, laid desolate and bare by the results of Solon's experiments on the villagers, is abandoned, with no one certain that it will ever recover.

In the Crimson Flower route, Remire Village is eventually rebuilt, as indicated with Alois' ending as a standalone or with either gender of Byleth.
