Retaking the Castle is the fifth chapter of Fire Emblem Engage.
Story[]
After saving the town, Durthon and Anisse express thier gratitude and want to help. Alear sets them up in the Somniel before heading to Firene Castle. Zephia and Nelucce ask Ève where the ring is but she doesn't talk. Alear, Alfred and Céline arrive and the evil duo realize that Céline has the ring. Ève is taken away and Zephia seems to recognize Alear but wasn't aware that Lumera had a child. She indirectly reveals that she knows about the attack on Lythos Castle and that she wasn't the one who killed Lumera. She also mentions that Sombron is freed thanks to Elusia's handiwork and that Alear likely awoke because of this. Alear denies it and Zephia leaves.
Once Alear takes back the castle, Nelucce flees only to be killed by Zephia for his failure. Zephia reports to the attacker and she tells Zephia to pull back for now. Ève is grateful that her children and kingdom are safe. She also displays grief for Lumera's death. She lets them keep Celica's ring and lets them know of the Ring of the Dawn Maiden located to the north. Alfred and Céline also stay with Alear as representatives of Firene.

Roster Strategy[]
With the Ring of the Caring Princess, more useful Bond Rings can be obtained:
- Alm - Windsweep allows the user to disable a foe's counterattack(s) if the user initiates combat while equipped with a sword and can activate it based off their luck stat. The only downside is that this Ring only works for Alear for now.
- Mae - Great Thunder increases damage from Thunder, Elthunder, and Thoron tomes by 20%. At the current chapter, Thunder Tomes are currently not available, but will be soon.
