SP or Skill Points are a character statistic introduced in Fire Emblem Heroes. SP are required to learn skills and can be earned by performing certain actions.

Fire Emblem Heroes[]

Gaining SP[]

Leveling up[]

Each time units level up, they always gain an amount of SP depending on their rarities and levels:

Level range SP gained
1 - 2✯ 3 - 5✯
1 - 10 4 6
11 - 20 8 12
21 - 30 12 18
31 - 40 16 24

Merging heroes[]

Duplicates of heroes can be merged together to receive SP. When merging two heroes of the same rarity, the remaining hero will also gain a stat boost. An amount of SP gained depends on the merged hero's rarity.

Rarity of source hero SP gained by remaining hero
1✯ 10
2✯ 20
3✯ 40
4✯ 80
5✯ 120

Others[]

Additional methods to gain SP include defeating enemies and healing allies:

  • Units gain 2 or 3 SP upon defeating an enemy.
  • Healer units gain 1 SP for each healing action they perform.

Multipliers[]

Through various methods or events, SP gain gains a multiplier allowing the player to accrue even more SP per non-Level Up action. These multipliers can stack on each other.

  • On weekends, a natural x2 SP multiplier is active for all units.
    • During certain events, the natural multiplier is increased as high as x5.
  • The unit has a Blessing which doubles the SP gain.
  • A unit is deployed with a Valor Skill equipped that corresponds to their weapon which leads to a x2 increase if the Valor skill is at Tier 3.
  • Highlighted units in Tempest Trials gain x2 SP than other units.
  • The player has purchased a Summoner Support pack containing a x5 multiplier.

All multipliers stack on each other, leading to a maximum of 600 SP gained for a combat victory if all highest conditions are met or 48 SP for most universal SP multiplier events for an attacking unit. Staff units can gain a maximum of 200 SP per heal with all applicable multipliers active.

Fire Emblem Engage[]

In Fire Emblem Engage, SP accrued by units is spent to inherit skills from Emblem Rings. Once a skill is inherited, a unit may freely equip that skill in a skill slot without need of the associated Emblem Ring, but a unit must be equipped with an Emblem Ring or a Bond Ring to accrue SP during battle. Emblem Veronica's skill SP Conversion ignores this requirement, granting the user +20 SP after defeating a foe regardless of whether a ring or bracelet is equipped.

Books[]

SP can also be earned through the usage of Novice Books, Adept Books, and Expert Books, all of which function as Stat boosters, granting the user a flat amount of SP upon consumption. The Somniel's Ancient Well, unlocked after Chapter 6, has high odds of dropping these books and can be reliably utilized to accumulate SP.
