—Sasha, in a conversation with Runan
Sasha is a playable character from TearRing Saga: Utna Heroes Saga. She is the daughter of King Loffaru and Queen Liza of Wellt. She is being pursued by her family's chancellor, Duke Codha of Gram, who schemes to seize control of Wellt.
Profile[]
During their childhood, Sasha and Runan knew each other for a brief amount of time. His father intended for the two of them to be betrothed. She is introduced alongside Kate when they are fleeing from Codha's soldiers at the beginning of the game. When Runan comes to her aid, she immediately recognizes him, although he does not realize who she is until Eugen tells him. She also accepts Runan's offer to escort her to Verge and seek help from Count Merlon. Early in the game, Sasha meets Mel, who gives the ☆Pegasus Flute to her at Liza's request. After the capital of Wellt is liberated, she reunites with her mother, whom she convinces to let her stay in Runan's army.
If Sasha is sent with Holmes' army after the first route split, she has a conversation with him in which she recognizes the jade pendant around his neck, but cannot remember where she previously saw it. In a series of events triggered by this, it is revealed that Sasha and Holmes are half-siblings due to him being Liza's son with Admiral Vals of Granada. When Runan and Holmes invade the Gerxel Church's temple near the end of the game, she can re-recruit Kate if both of them were sent with the same army after the third route split.
In the ending, Sasha returns to Wellt and continues to live with her parents.
Personality[]
Sasha is a kindhearted and determined individual who never changes her mind once she has made a decision. She does not easily notice if she has offended someone and often speaks carelessly, even in the royal court, which Liza scolds her for. She also has no intention of inheriting the throne of Wellt because Loffaru intends to give it to Holmes instead.
In a conversation with Mahter, Sasha reveals that she wants to become a Pegasus Knight and excitedly imagines flying freely in the sky. She has always wanted to have an older brother, particularly one like Holmes. She cares a lot about Kate and feels useless without her by her side.

At first glance, Sasha may not seem like a strong character due to her initial class, Princess, which has poor base stats and growth potential. However, investing in her offers significant advantages that make her a valuable asset.
In Map 6, Sasha can acquire the ☆Pegasus Flute by interacting with Mel or Narsus if Mel is unavailable. A key benefit of this item is that it allows her to promote at any level, although promoting at level 10 is advisable.
Sasha's skillset is impressive, including abilities like Gale (Vantage), Continue (Adept), and Canto (when she promotes to Pegasus Knight). Most notably, she can learn Elite (Paragon) if she reaches level 10 as a Princess, which significantly boosts her experience gain. While leveling her up may seem challenging, there are effective ways to increase her experience without slowing the team's progress:
- In Map 1, Sasha can easily gain experience by defeating Ross with an Estoc, especially if she has been given the first Mastery Potion. Interestingly, Ross does not target Sasha, focusing instead on other party members.
- Raquel, who joins in Map 4, can weaken enemies for Sasha to finish off. This strategy is particularly useful in Map 6, allowing Sasha to secure easy kills.
- Map 8 is ideal for training Sasha, as it precedes the first route split. Players often send her to the bottom right corner to farm experience from Entombed enemies.
If the player prefers not to spend additional turns training Sasha in Map 8, consider sending her to Holmes' Army during Route Split 1. While she would benefit from fighting tougher enemies with Runan, she can still contribute with Ensorcel-boosted Levin Swords, especially if she's used the first Mastery Potion.
Once promoted and equipped with Paragon, Sasha gains Magic and Speed rapidly, becoming one of the most potent units in outdoor maps. Pegasus Knights excel in magic attacks, and with Levin Swords, Sasha can one-round KO most midgame enemies with around 10 magic. This capability is crucial in Runan's and Holmes' outdoor maps, where enemies often have shields that resist physical attacks. Additionally, she excels at taking down Ballistae on player phase, particularly in Maps 24, 25, and 34.
It's worth noting that while Sasha can technically promote to Draco-Knight for additional bonuses, this is generally not recommended. Pegasus Knights, with their high magic stats, are among the game's most powerful units. Switching to a physical damage focus as a Draco-Knight can be a downgrade. Instead, consider giving Sasha the Occult Book to further enhance her stats if needed.
