—Schaffer's death quote
Schaeffer is the boss of chapter 22: Solo in the game Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. He is the leader of a group of gangsters who have taken over Palmeni Temple. He was previously allied with the Daein army which is why he is fearful of Ike's group attacking them. He uses the priests led by Tomenami to guard him. He says many things that imply he fears death. He is also revealed to fear the bird tribe; when a hawk attacks him, he orders all archers to attack the hawk.

Strategy[edit | edit source]
Schaeffer starts the chapter wielding a Killer Axe, but he also carries a droppable Killer Bow. If you don't want to go through the priests, and men protecting him, here is an easy way: In turn one, set up a little defense so your men don't get hurt. Then use Calill or someone capable of using a long range magic attack to attack him once. Then in the next turn use that unit twice (once with his/her regular attack and once with Reyson's help) which should kill him.
When fighting him directly, it's advised to take the weapon that he is not currently using so you can exploit that weakness. That is, if you steal his Killer Axe, use close-range attacks, and vice versa.
